Ferrous Surface Cleaners

QUAKERCLEAN® 403 CT can be used in multi-stage operations or as a combination cleaner/phosphate process. It will clean most soils such as drawing and metalworking lubricants, and corrosion preventives used in the fabrication of the part.

QUAKERCLEAN® 520 PC is a dual purpose, mild alkaline liquid that simultaneously cleans and protects metal surfaces in a single processing step. This product is designed for ferrous (steel and cast iron) alloys.

QUAKERCLEAN® LFE 2S is a liquid alkaline cleaner, designed to remove a variety of soils from ferrous surfaces. It is designed to split oil which extends the useful life of the cleaning solution. QUAKERCLEAN® LFE 2S will also effectively remove oil and grease from automotive and locomotive parts. This product will effectively remove oil and grease from automotive parts. Its unique chemical balance provides very efficient penetrating, loosening and lifting of various soils from the surface. It can be used in both spray and immersion cleaning systems. QUAKERCLEAN® LFE 2S is free rinsing and leaves a residue-free surface. It provides very little corrosion protection and should be followed by further processing or the application of a Quaker corrosion preventive.

It has been used extensively in the tube and pipe Industry to clean strip and pipe prior to galvanizing. This product will also effectively remove oil and grease from automotive and locomotive parts. QUENCH-KLEEN 5343 is a non-MEA, non-nitrited, low residue, alkaline spray cleaner with short-term in-plant rust protection. This product presents no barrier to subsequent coating and has proven to be an excellent alternative to the use of solvent emulsion cleaners. QUENCH-KLEEN 5343 is particularly effective in cleaning quench oils and splitting them out of solution. Up to 1 week corrosion protection.
