Quaker Chemical Corporation and Houghton International have combined to create Quaker Houghton (NYSE: KWR), the global leader in industrial process fluids to the primary metals and metalworking markets. Along with the new name, the company revealed a new logo and brand representing the combined companies. The company will continue to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange and trade under the “KWR” ticker symbol.

Customers have been able to get in touch with the QAdvantage team via phone, email, and website submissions through QAdvantage.com. With the newly launched webstore, customers can easily place orders any time, even outside of standard business hours, and without having to pick up the phone or write an email.

Manufacturing production in US rises for sixth straight month. As of February, manufacturing rose yet again, with factory production rising by .5%. A Federal Reserve report on Friday showed the strongest month to month performance in three years.

While the industry is experiencing growth, much of it is domestic as the strong dollar deters growth in exports.
